Welcome to the next instalment of the photographic diary I am sharing featuring some shots I captured across the Scottish Highlands this summer. This has taken a wee bit longer than I’d have liked as I had to reprocess a number of shots having lost original works due to computer/hard drive issues.
However, slowly but surely I’m getting through them all again but with over 1000 photos to re-process, it’s taking a bit longer than I’d planned.
Here we are at Ardelve, a wee village around ten minutes from Eilean Donan Castle – our first stop in this series. This, was a lucky find. I had been told about a fairy bakery but I wasn’t to know the quality of the goods here; fresh baked pastries, cakes and cheese products to name a few! Awesome way to enjoy breakfast with our campsite just along the road and whilst we were travelling around in a fully stocked mobile home on wheels (and thats how it handled when driving!) it was great to walk and eat outdoors on a glorious sunny morning.
Check out these images below featuring the Fairy Bakery and the Fairy Distillery at Ardelve.
