As promised, here’s the first part of my collection of images captured during my recent trip around the Scottish Highlands in the summer!

The truth being told, I actually travelled from Edinburgh, east through the Kingdom of Fife, all the way to the East Neuk and went from Anstruther back westwards, all the way to Skye! I stopped at most every decent location I could find and some I had no idea even existed! I even went all the way north to Aviemore and Inverness, taking in Loch Ness and heading south back through Stirlingshire before heading home.

Over one thousand miles and a similar number of photos. This first section is a wee introduction and I’ll be adding more over the coming weeks so stay tuned for more of these shots. Eventually, the page will have a huge array of images but for now, we’ll start with a selection of the favourites starting with some shots from Eilean Donan Castle – Scotland’s most photographed castle no less!
