My photographic diary around the Scottish Highlands and beyond is almost complete but, not quite!

This instalments takes us down into the beautiful wee town of Inverary, down in Argyll and Bute. The town is on the western shore of Loch Fyne, near its head, and on the A83 road. It is a former royal burgh, the traditional county town of Argyll, and ancestral seat to the Duke of Argyll no less.

Lots of fine old interesting spots in this historic town with the former jail and courthouse a MUST see if you do end up visiting. The whole place is picturesque and with lots of scenic walks and spots, it’s a definite stop to make if you are in the area!
