Antique Images & Prints

Bakehouse Close – Original Antique Print from 1886

I am delighted to announce I am now in the processing of offering a number of original antique prints. These largely depict Edinburgh during the eighteenth and nineteenth century and date from 1791 – 1900 approximately. These will be available to purchase during October and full details will shared here in due course. Meantime, some information is available here, regards the prints, provenance etc.

Reproduction Antique Prints

I am also offering reproduction antique prints derived from my full collection and I am delighted to announce the first batch is now ready for purchase – click here for full details and to access the complete collection.

Reproduction Print – John Knox’s House – Originally printed 1837

Each reproduction is faithfully recreated and mirrors the original print as far as possible, complete with original image, original title and artist/engraver details also shown with typefaces used to match the original print as closely as possible.

Reproductions are available in both sepia and black and white, professionally produced as matt photographic prints. They are offered in size A4 by default though other sizes may be available and smaller sizes can be produced to order too. Contact me to discuss your requirements if different from the standard sizes offered. All reproductions are priced at just £14.99 and discounts are available for anyone buying 3 or more reproduction prints – contact me to discuss your requirements.

Antique & Vintage Postcards

In addition to the original antique prints and reproduction antique prints, I’ll also be offering a collection of antique and vintage postcards for sale from October 2020.

These all depict scenes from Edinburgh and date back to 1900 – 1930 approximately. All postcards are not-posted with no writing on the reverse of the postcard and for all intents and purposes are like new, save for age related wear and tear.

This collection will be limited in stock and all items are ultra rare and becoming ever harder to find in good condition. These make great collectors items, gifts or even for framing and popping on a window ledge or mantlepiece – the options are endless and of course, you have the option to post them too if you so desire!
